Lung Visualization

I created this toy for the BIOMEDIN 260 course (Computational Methods for Biomedical Image Analysis and Interpretation) in Spring 2016. In this class, I learned about priciples and algorithms for automatically analyzing and interpreting radiological images. For one assignment, I had to segment a three-dimensional lung volume from a Computed Tomography scan. To visualize segmentation quality, I decimated and smoothed the mesh generated by segmentation and then visualized it in Three.js as an animated rotating lung.

You can view the animation here.
